Memecoin launch best practices: a creator checklist
Plan a clearer Solana memecoin launch with honest communication, visible creator activity and information buyers can check.
Make the launch easy to understand
Explain the idea in a few sentences: what the token represents, where the community lives and what you intend to do after launch. If there is no product, roadmap or utility, say so. Avoid presenting a meme as an investment with promised returns.
Publish one official mint address after confirmation and keep your website and social links consistent. A recognizable name is useful; a verifiable address is essential.
Make creator participation visible
Tell buyers about the creator's initial buy, current holdings, planned distributions and any related wallets you control. Moving funds to a second wallet does not make its activity independent. Equally, a funding connection alone does not prove that the same person controls both wallets.
- Check that your public links work and your description matches the actual launch.
- Explain token allocations and any genuine commitments in terms people can verify.
- Review the current launch and trading fees before publishing claims about cost.
- Avoid fake volume, undisclosed coordinated buys and guaranteed-return language.
- Decide how you will communicate creator sales or other material changes.
Treat history as something you build
A launch announcement is one moment. Buyers may also look at your previous launches, how long participation lasted and what happened after early excitement faded. Keep failed launches in view when describing your record; selecting only winners gives people a distorted picture.
URGE provides available creator history and recorded activity so buyers can investigate. Transparency does not prevent losses or prove a creator is trustworthy. It gives people more evidence to consider.
