Holder Rewards
Creator fees, shared with holders
When launching on URGE, a creator can choose to share part of their creator fee with the coin's holders. If you hold an eligible amount of such a coin, you receive a share of those fees for each day you hold it, paid in SOL.
Holder rewards exist only on coins whose creator chose a share at launch. Those coins show “Holder rewards enabled” on their page; other coins have no holder rewards.
How creators opt in
At launch, the creator picks a share of their creator fee for holders: 0% · 25% · 50% · 100%. The choice is recorded on-chain and can't be changed afterwards. With a share above 0%, the coin's creator fees are paid to an on-chain program that splits them between holders and the creator; the holders' part stays in the program until it is paid to holders.
Which fees fund rewards
Only the creator's fee — never URGE's fee, Raydium's fee, or anyone's coins. While the coin trades on URGE, the creator fee is 0.35% of each trade. After the coin moves to Raydium, Raydium keeps part of the creator fee first (currently 5%), and the share applies to what remains.
The percentage is of creator fees, not of trading volume. With a 25% share, holders receive 25% of the creator fee — about 0.0875% of each trade's value while the coin trades on URGE — not 25% of the trade.
Who is eligible
Wallets holding at least 0.001% of the coin's supply. Not eligible: pool and locked-liquidity accounts and other program-owned accounts, the creator's launch wallet, and URGE's operational wallets.
How your share is calculated
Each day (UTC) has its own amount: the holders' part of the creator fees earned that day. It is split by coins held × time held during that day, counting only time at or above the minimum. Selling or sending coins stops earning on them from that moment; what you already earned stays yours. Each wallet's amount rounds down to the lamport, and the remainder carries to the next day. A coin's first day starts at its launch.
When rewards are calculated and paid
A day is calculated after it ends, once its fees are collected and the coin's holder record is complete. Nothing is split on partial data, so a day can wait. Calculated days are published in an allocation file anyone can check, and each published allocation waits a review period of at least 24 hours — during which a wrong one can be stopped — before it can be paid. Payments are then sent to your wallet automatically; there is nothing to claim.
Payout asset
Rewards are paid in SOL only — the asset creator fees are charged in.
Minimums and delays
A first payment from a coin is at least 0.002 SOL; later payments are at least 0.0001 SOL. A wallet holding no SOL needs at least 0.00089088 SOL in one payment (a Solana account rule). Smaller amounts keep adding up — they are never forfeited and never expire. URGE pays the delivery costs; payments wait if they are paused or if URGE's delivery budget is low.
What the statuses mean
A daily reward is not a payment yet. Each day's reward moves through these steps:
- Finalized
- Calculated. It goes into the coin's next published allocation.
- Processing
- Published, and waiting out the review period before it can be paid.
- Awaiting payment
- Ready to pay. Sent automatically once your unpaid total for the coin reaches the payment minimum.
- Sending
- A payment is being sent now.
- Paid
- Payment confirmed on Solana.
Where to see your rewards
Your wallet page shows your latest daily rewards across coins, what is not yet paid, and earlier days — including coins you have since sold. Each coin's page shows its share, your rewards on that coin, and its full public rewards record.
Not a promise of income
Rewards depend on trading. A day with no trading fees — or one where you didn't hold an eligible amount — earns nothing. A creator's share is not a return and does not promise any amount.
